The unveiling of the 15th Induction class of the Big Island Sports Hall of Fame was held yesterday at the Prince Kuhio Plaza to a standing room crowd that showed their support of the four new inductees.

BJ Penn, Reed Sunahara, Dr. Dennis Sagawa and Frank Degele received the BISHOF plague presented to all new inductees.

The unveiling was followed by a sold-out awards luncheon at the Sky Garden at the ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center where each inductee spoke of their journey that led them to receive the prestigious award. They all were appreciative of the support from their family, friends, and fans.
