Aloha all you Ghouls and Goblins, Big Island Pulse is happy to announce that Holoholoween is back for the third year! This year’s venue is the beautiful and convenient Nani Mau Gardens (https://www.nanimaugardens.com/), located at 421 Makalika Street in beautiful South Hilo. From 10am until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, October 14 and 15, families can enjoy a wholesome Halloween experience including pumpkin patch meets Easter egg hunt style, selfie stations, food and craft vendors, and so much more.
The gorgeous grounds of Nani Mau Gardens will be transformed into a spooktacular Halloween and Fall Festival campus with so many options for family fun. As in past years, one highlight will be the pumpkins available for purchase to take home for carving. Each day will have 200 pumpkins available. They have been known to sell out, so be sure to reserve yours in advance CLICK HERE.
Throughout the Gardens, you will find many different backdrops and props to take that perfect Fall family photo. Be sure to share and tag us- we love to see all of the fun our guests are having! (Tag us with @holoholoween on Facebook and Instagram) and use the hashtag #holoholoween
This year, guests will have over 60 vendors to check out. Many different types and styles of food, beverages, sweets, fashion, hand made jewelry, crafts and delights, will be available to peruse as you stroll through the grounds. Please come prepared to support these amazing artisans. Delicious food, Halloween decor, a keiki play zone, and holiday presents all in one, covered, clean, convenient place- who could ask for more?
Just a reminder that all tickets that include parking have been sold, and there will be no drive-up tickets available at the parking lot. There are still drop-off tickets available for guests who can arrange for a ride to the event, like a taxi, Uber or Lyft. Nani Mau is in a lovely residential neighborhood, so please help us be good neighbors by not parking along any roadway near the event. These vehicles will be towed.
We also want to make sure you know about an evening event that Nani Mau will be hosting October 14, 15, and 31. Ghouls in the Gardens Haunted Walk (https://www.nanimaugardens.com/event-details-registration/ghouls-in-the-gardens-haunted-walk-2023-10-14-18-30) will be held after Holoholoween on October 14 & 15, then again on October 31. It runs from 6:30pm-8:30pm and is under a separate ticket, which may be purchased by clicking the link above, or visiting the Nani Mau website.
Guest experience and safety are of the utmost importance to us, and we are pleased to provide you with a truly drug and alcohol free family-friendly environment this year. We hope you have a wonderful time at Holoholoween 2023, and we look forward to seeing you next year!
