Hawai’i has had to re-imagine Halloween this year! With many restrictions in place due to Covid the Big Island is getting creative to bring safe trick-or-treating fun to the community.

Much has changed this year, but that won’t stop the Pa’ani Ranch ‘ohana and the Big Island Pulse team from bringing you this safe and fun haunted drive-thru and pumpkin patch experience suitable for all ages.

With so much to see on this beautiful 225 acre ranch, after you exit the haunted drive-through decorated by Big Island businesses, make sure to park and head to the Bat Booth to purchase your festive concessions while enjoying some Halloween tunes! Then take a walk over to the pumpkin field and enjoy the various photo selfie stations, like the house in the picture to the left, designed and decorated by Big Island businesses! Beyond our beautiful beaches and coastlines lies a spooky side to the history of Hawai’i that includes folklore, legends and ghost stories and even UFO’s. Neighbors are encouraged to participate by decorating a table, trunk or tent to pass out treats to the neighborhood kids. Contests will be held for the most creative deco! Contact the community center for more information.
