Drawing and Painting with David Hardy

Hosted by Kipaipai School of Art in Hawaiian Paradise Park, Mr. David Hardy is a living master and one of the best colorists in America today. David attended Chicagos American Academy of Fine Arts. There he studied anatomy and figure drawing with an elderly Antonin Sterba Hardy went on to advanced figure drawing under the tutelage of Joseph Van der Brouk and the renowned colorist, Hardy’s figure painting teacher at the Academy was the renowned William Moseby. Then David moved to New York and attended The Art Students League, he worked with the great anatomist, Robert Beverly Hale and Frank Mason, his figure painting instructor at the League. David has directed his own atelier for classical realism for more than half a century.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study with a true master of the arts covering still life, figurative, and landscape. David guides you in your process, offering gentle critique to give you the benefit of his many years as both fine artist and esteemed teacher.
