This month, the Red Cross is holding a virtual volunteer recruitment fair in honor of the 103rd anniversary of Queen Liliuokalani’s Red Cross Donation and Membership. Special guest speaker, Red Cross Regional Executive Officer Diane Peters-Nguyen, will give a brief history of the Red Cross in the Pacific Islands Region and will speak about her personal connection to our Queen.
In addition to talking about our highest needs (we desperately need volunteer doctors and nurses for hurricane shelter supervising roles), we will be going over Youth Volunteer options. We will speak on internships for college age adults, Red Cross Clubs for students in middle school-college, and the highest need positions we have available for Youth and Young Adults. Click or scan the attached links and RSVP to join us!
