Liko Lehua

Liko Lehua Butter was created and developed in 1996 by Diane Kaneali’i and her sister, Arleen Eblacas in the cool, quiet hills above Hilo, Hawaii. At first, the business was simply a way to help the two sisters to get to Canada but slowly Liko Lehua began to expand.

About the Host:

Chanel Bentosino is a student, ordained minister, and self-proclaimed mac and cheese connoisseur. As a single mother of a one-year-old tuxedo cat, she makes her living by working in a cardiologist office and attending the University of Hawai’i at Hilo in hopes to give her daughter a better life than she had.  Chanel is a simple Hilo girl who can usually be found either in the closest body of water or at the closest Foodland. Currently, she is the host of InBigIsland.com’s  “KauKau Time”, where she promotes and reviews local restaurants and eateries of the Big Island.  She strives to live in a world of unedited happiness and unfiltered humor, and hopes to go down in history as “one cool cat.” *finger guns*
