Welcome to our new weekly feature! We’ve partnered with local rescue organization KARES (Kohala Animal Relocation and Education Service) to give Big Island Pulse readers who are looking to adopt a pet a look at some of the wonderful animals that they have available for adoption. This week we are getting to know Pakele, a beautiful male dog. He’s one of many adoptable pets available, but he tops their list for needing a home.
Pakele is a sweet and loving boy available for adoption with KARES.
He is 5 years old and weighs 70 pounds. He is a mixed breed dog, possibly Doberman and Catahoula.
Pakele is currently being fostered with other dogs, cats, and a baby, and he is easygoing with all of them.
He’s a mellow dude, he loves to snuggle on the couch and hang out with his foster family, and if you want to adopt a pet, he makes a great choice.
Pakele would love to be part of a family, and he’s just waiting for the right one to come his way.
