Adopt A Pet from KARES! Meet Courage and Spirit – The Playful Ones

Courage and Spirit are two sisters who were given to KARES for rehoming.  These siblings are hound/pit mixes and just under a year old. Both have been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. They do not have to be adopted together.

Courage is an affectionate girl who loves to play and chase a ball.  She has gorgeous eyes with a gray flecked patch of fur over the right side of her face and ear.  Courage is a 55-pound energetic dog. She would do best with an active family who will take her for hikes and to the beach.  This girl is getting her manners down; she knows how to sit on command and is learning to walk well on the leash. She still needs some practice but with the right family, she will blossom into a wonderful and loving companion.

Spirit is Courage’s sister and is a little smaller at 45 pounds. Like Courage, Spirit knows how to sit and is getting better every day when walked on a leash. Spirit is more reserved and easy going. She loves other dogs, plays nicely, and is eager to please. Spirit would do best with an active family who will spend lots of time taking her new places and giving her belly rubs!
