About this Concert:
As many on the Big Island are aware, the uptick in local crime on the island has residents
concerned about their well-being. Recent events like the road rage incident in
Pahoa and the home invasion in Paradise Park where a can of pork and beans led to
an arrest have filled our newspapers and social media timelines with so much negativity
that the good in people tend to be forgotten.
Your support is key in solving these problems.
A desire for change in our community brought three entrepreneurs together to create
the Aloha Project Alliance. This coming together between Walter’s Electric Inc. owner
Kaimi Chung and InBigIsland.com founders Tony Misiaszek and Chris Kua sparked
an idea to raise awareness and bring the community together. We call it the Aloha
Project.

Posted by Big Island Pulse on Wednesday, July 18, 2018
Our first event, the Aloha Concert, will be a FREE concert on Sunday May 20th, 2018
featuring Hawaii comedian Kaleo Pilanca along with the Mana’o Company music
group as well as our very own Big Island talents to create a coming together for the
community. We hope that starting with an event like this will bring awareness to our
people that there is still much good that happens on the Big Island and even more
important, that the positivity begins with each one of us.
You can help us to raise awareness on the Big Island and “Bring Aloha Back” by becoming
a sponsor for this event. Would you consider donating to help us achieve this
mission? We would love to sit down with you for just 10-15 minutes to share our
vision with you about the Aloha Project.
Your donation will help to fund travel and fees for our headlining entertainers, provide
security to create a safe environment, build goodwill through Lucky Number prizes
and secure the facility for the day.
