Monday, April 1st, Kukuau Studio will be celebrating it’s 9th birthday. How apropo is it to have the celebration on the night that put this funky little studio on the map?
The Monday night Jazz Jam at Kukuau Studio was created to strengthen the Big Island Jazz community through networking and jamming and it has definitely accomplished what it set out to do 9 years ago. There was already an underground jazz scene in Hilo but this Jazz Jam has surely elevated it– propelling this genre’s popularity and making the Big Island the Jazz Island of the state.
Kukuau Studio extends this special invitation to celebrate their birthday and our 390th Monday Night Jazz Jam in one beautiful evening with your favorite jazz standards and all your friends.
April 1st, 6-9PM, all ages. No cover, only at Kukuau Studio.
