Two Big Island punk rock bands take over the Willie’s courtyard for April Fools Day!
EL SANCHO is a Big Island-based punk band that has been performing since 2019. Their third album “Heads Up!” comes out in June 2023. Their fun, fast and catchy songs draw comparison to punk classics like the Misfits, Screeching Weasel and the Dead Milkmen. The band recently supported punk legends Agent Orange for two shows in Hawaii, and has played alongside bands like Supersuckers, D.O.A. and the Cutthroat Brothers.
KAUZ OF AFFLICTION, or K.O.A., is based in Ocean View and has been playing live since 2015. Their fourth album “Fourward Motion” is a genre-defying high energy romp that jumps through punk, metal, pop and just about everything everything else at breakneck speed. K.O.A.’s latest single “Dizzy” will be released April 1st.
