Backyard Farming Tour

Being self-sustaining is becoming more and more important in our world and in our community.  Here is an opportunity to learn how to keep farm animals in your backyard.  Kainoa and Danielle, at The Lili House Farm, are making it their mission to share their farming experience with the community and in collaboration with the library, they have invited us to come, see and ask questions.  This is a free trip so take advantage of this rare opportunity! You must sign up at the library to be a part of the free tour.

Here at The Lili House Farm, located in beautiful Volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii, our goal is to show our guests how easy it is to make a loving connection with animals.  We have seen how their presence can easily dissolve stress, bring comfort and be a lot of fun all at the same time! It’s our vision to encourage and inspire families to towards a more self-sustained lifestyle. We enjoy seeing them make memories with their loved ones and realize that growing both plants and animals doesn’t have to be time consuming or burdensome but rather enjoyable and life giving.
