AZAYUS + ODYSSEUS
It’s a new year and we’re starting off strong with one of our hottest rising headliners as well as a legend that helped lay the foundations of our Big Island dance scene! Hawaiian Sanctuary has remodeled their dance space and improved their sound system, pouring a lot of love and care back into our weekly gathering, it’s time to move forward and create great experiences together!
AZAYUS
Azayus gets the dancers moving. His mixes are smooth and daring. Azayus explores a full spectrum of dance frequencies and rhythmic dynamics from high energy beats that demand quick steppin’ to whompy bass disintegration that keeps you deep trippin’. This Friday, his main hour set will heavily feature trance, so be ready to sweat.
Azayus has headlined infamous Big Island events like CandyLand and a recent 2024 NYE celebration. Azayus ability to create masterful mixes is well known in our underground dance scene and he has become one of the most celebrated talents to regularly play for us at Bee Dance.
ODYSSEUS
Odysseus has been a huge influence on the Big Island scene going way back to the Full Moon Days at the turn of the millennium.
Odysseus (Lush Hawaii) was a resident dj for LA’s integral gathering and Zodiac tribe before spearheading the now legendary Big Island full moon parties at the turn of the millenium. He was one of the original ecstatic dance facilitators and has facilitated Ecstatic dances throughout Europe. He simultaneously cultivates an underground club presence and has just returned from an invigorating tour of Amsterdam, Germany and Belgium.
He has performed with Bass Nectar, Tipper, Treavor Moontribe, and many other lesser known, but just as talented artists. He is super grateful for all the talented DJs currently pushing the boundaries and beats on the Big Island here and now.
