The Ecstatic Life Big Island Dance Retreat is a full spectrum integration for those who are ready for a fearless and magical experience.
This retreat is an opportunity for us to play with each other and heal ourselves in one of the most beautiful and magnificent places on Earth.
Traveling to the Big Island of Hawaii is a sacred pilgrimage for many dancers. Dive into the dance floors, black sand beaches, and natural hot pools. Life in the middle of the Hawaiian jungle, on the edge of an active volcano, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, has been a catalyst and inspiration for the Ecstatic Dance community around the World.

Dance is Life – This class redefines dynamic zen. We will up-level our physical awareness and drop deep into our conscious movement. Forging a bridge between sound and body, music and motion, we will begin to see, hear and feel more than ever before.
Dancing into Oneness – combines quantum meditation, authentic relating, and the Resonant Witness shamanic dance practice developed by Lotus. It supports participants to experience a deeper connection with self, others, and source and will introduce a toolset that will ripple this deeper sense of connection through the retreat and beyond.
Being Danced – An experiment in Communal Play:
It has been scientifically proven how vital play is to our well-being.
Animals and young children are always playing which supports their nervous systems to be fluid and flexible.
Ever notice how contracted life can feel when we are taking ourselves too seriously?
Just a small dose of play per day can expand you into a state of awe of joy and aliveness.

Frequency Shift – What tools can we use to change our emotional set point moment by moment and change the quality of our life? When your frequency is full of LIGHT and Aliveness, you are in touch with your Gift, which will Guide the highest and the best course of your life.
Contact Improvisation – We will practice skills and tips for the best weight-sharing practices followed by an open jam. Bring your curiosity and lean into one of the best practices for somatic intelligence.
Alchemical Intimacy: Embodied Desire, Consent, and Boundaries – Through a series of dialogues and somatic experiments, we will explore what it means to feel completely Sovereign in our bodies AND Connected in our relationships. We will be witnessed and celebrated in our authentic desires and boundaries—which creates connection in places where we can often feel alienated. When we create more permission for the aliveness in our collective body, we also create more space for conscious self-expression and truly consensual collaboration in getting our needs met.
