Ku‘ikahi Mediation Center hosts a free talk on June 17 as part of their “Finding Solutions, Growing Peace” Brown Bag Lunch Series. Talks are Third Thursdays from 12 noon to 1 pm via Zoom. This month’s speaker is Jelani Madaraka on the topic “Race, Racism, Conflicts, and Resolutions.” In this talk, we’ll discuss the unique ways that race, ethnicity, and discrimination arise in Hawai‘i within the context of conflicts and disputes, with a focus on ways to resolve them.
