This week we have three great new brews from Mother Earth Brew Co. One from their Four Seasons line up, one from their Project X lineup and one in the Limited category. Each one of these will be here for a short time and then likely gone forever.
- Oak-Aged German-Style Lager is a unique and well-crafted beer. Aged in virgin medium-toast oak casks, it picks up just enough mild oak tannins to perfectly balance flavors of honey, toasted bread, and a touch of malt sweetness. The malt base, made with premium pilsen and a blend of Vienna and Munich malts, combined with noble hops, gives it an earthy, herbal character that’s both complex and super drinkable. At 5.9% ABV and 40 IBUs, it’s smooth, flavorful, and approachable—a great choice for anyone who loves a solid lager with a twist.
- Spirit Animal Hazy IPA is a delightfully complex and juicy beer featuring the New Zealand hop Nectaron. It’s bursting with tropical fruit, citrus, and stone fruit flavors and aromas. These bold flavors are balanced by the Project X malt bill made of barley, wheat, and oats, giving it a soft, full-bodied feel that stands up to the heavy hopping with Idaho 7, Nectaron, Simcoe, and Citra hops. This beer is packed with flavor and character. At 7.2% ABV and 50 IBUs, it’s as smooth as it is flavorful.
- Sin Tax Imperial Peanut Butter Stout is a bold and well-balanced brew. Deep malts bring espresso notes, British Crystal malts add toffee and caramel, and a touch of molasses creates a dry, flavorful finish. The peanut butter enhances the beer without overpowering it, keeping it true to the Imperial Stout style. At 8.1% ABV and 55 IBUs, it’s rich yet surprisingly drinkable.
