SCHOOL OF ROCK: BATTLE OF THE BANDS @ KUKUAU STUDIO
You’ve seen in the screens, and you’ve heard of those musical screams but have you heard of this lovely thing? Kukuau Studio presents, Battle of The Bands PART TWO! We’ve done it during the fall and as promised, we are back this SPRING!
Our second all-ages, old-school battle of the bands is getting dialed in for you with last year’s winners, (Two Years Apart) headlining.
We are looking for five high school bands who are willing to bring their four-song set of originals (or covers) with many chances to win fabulous prizes.
What is a high school band?
A group of musicians consisting mostly of high school students.

Panelists will consist of professional musicians & producers looking at:
– Stage presence

– Musicality
– Dynamics
– Song selection
– Audience interaction
– Individual performances
– Band continuity

April 4th (the night before), will be a dry run, sound check & pizza party just for the bands.
Music will be 100% live, no backing tracks.
Most backline needs will be provided.
