Academy Award winning documentary about the legendary 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival which celebrated African-American music and culture and promoted Black pride and unity. Saturday night’s screening will be presented by Bjorn Coker aka DJ UPLIFTER. Following the film, shake your groove thing on the Palace stage to an exclusive DJ set from DJ UPLIFTER featuring the groovy music of Soul Thing and the funky 1969 sound.
