Upcycle Hawaii has currently diverted 797 pounds and over 56,000 square feet of plastics from local landfills since January 2018.  Mattie Larson, founder of the Hilo business, Upcycle Hawaii, will share an innovative demonstration on the evolution of a hobby to a business and the power of sustainability to change our community.  A sampler of her unique products created from “trash” will be on display.  Mattie will answer any questions you have.
