Join the Downtown Hilo Museum Square (East Hawai‘i Cultural Center, Hawai‘i Science and Technology Museum, Mokupāpapa Discovery Center, and Pacific Tsunami Museum) for our 3rd annual World Ocean Day event. This is a free family-friendly event aimed at highlighting our kuleana, our responsibility, in caring for our oceans, responsibility conservation related issues and celebrating our oceans.
World Ocean Day (internationally on June 8th) brings awareness to sustainable management of the world’s oceans and highlights the importance of ocean conservation education and action. We have been following the UN World Oceans Day theme, which is “Awaken New Depths” for 2024
The Museum Square event will feature FREE keiki activities, entertainment, informational booths and more!
