It’s time again for the 6th Annual Holoholoween Fall Fest & Pumpkin Patch! This beloved community tradition is back and better than ever, thanks to this year’s partnership with The Hawai’i County Parks and Rec and Vibrant Hawai’i!
We will be transforming the Panaʻewa Equestrian Center in Hilo into a magical fall festival!
Running from October 3rd to October 6th, the gates are open daily from 10:00AM to 5:00PM, offering four-full-days packed with fall fun for the entire ‘ohana.

This year’s festival is proudly presented by Big Island Pulse, “The Heartbeat of the Big Island,” in collaboration with the County of Hawaiʻi Parks & Recreation and Vibrant Hawaiʻi. Their combined dedication ensures a safe, memorable, fun-filled and high-energy environment. Proceeds from the event support Vibrant Hawaii a non-profit organization, which works to strengthen community resilience and remove the barriers that make neighbors feel disconnected from their ability to solve the problems that matter most. By creating small, local opportunities to turn ideas into action, we help people rediscover their power to create change and strengthen their communities.
A Bumper Crop of Activities for Everyone
The center of attraction remains the stunning Aloun Farms, Hawaiʻi-grown pumpkin patch. Set right inside the old equestrian racetrack, you can wander among the selfie stations and inflatable backdrops, and choose your perfect local pumpkin (whether for carving masterpieces or delicious pies!). But the patch is just the beginning. The grounds are filled with immersive, festive photo setups, making it the perfect spot to capture that ideal autumn family portrait. For the keiki (and the young at heart), the festival offers classic hayrides, an exhilarating maze to explore, and a massive inflatable Bounce Castle Fun Zone and of course pony rides provided by Rosie’s Rainbow Ranch! A yearly favorite!
Non-Stop Entertainment and Island Flavors
Beyond the pumpkins and play, get ready for an incredibly diverse lineup of entertainment and food. You’ll find local Big Island food trucks serving up ono eats, craft artisans showcasing unique creations, and festive confections like gourmet popcorn from Kravin Munchies. While you snack, enjoy dynamic live stage performances from energetic dance troupes, and breathtaking aerialists. This year’s lineup also features new, captivating magician shows that will delight and mystify! As a drug, alcohol, and smoke-free community event, Holoholoween fosters safe, genuine fun.
