Since 1994, the David Nelson Band has performed in venues around the country and beyond. Their songs feature Nelson’s work, many of which were co-written with the Grateful Dead Lyricist Robert Hunter. In addition, handpicked covers and Grateful Dead hits are also showcased.
With an artistic touch coupled by many free-form improvisations the David Nelson Band developed a unique, signature sound that allows them to stand-out above the rest.
In the present-time, The DNB are only selecting areas a few times a year to tour due to the individual band member’s high demanding schedule with other famous acts. When it comes up, DNB fans treasure these special moments of reunion at Nelson family gatherings
