Meet Akella!
Akella is an active 6 year old Shepherd mix who is looking for her forever home. Originally adopted through KARES in 2014, she was recently abandoned. Akella is on the small side for a Shepard and only weighs around 40 pounds. She loves to play and run and is eager to please. Akella would do best with a family who loves to hike, go to the beach, and generally be pretty active. She is housebroken, knows basic commands, and loves to ride in the car.
Akella is good with adults, kids, and other dogs, but she has a healthy curiosity about cats and may feel obligated to chase them.
If you would like more information about Akella , please call KARES at 333-6299 or email them at kareshawaii@gmail.com.
